TRAILS & TARMAC

Are you ready to tackle steep grades, sharp ridgelines, snow, rocks, scree and everything the Broken Arrow Skyrace can throw at you? Our training partners at Trails and Tarmac want to make sure you are well prepared, mentally and physically, for your best possible Skyrace. They have a thoroughly experienced coaching staff of professional runners who not only know the course inside out – but who are ready to help you ring the bell this June!

Trails & Tarmac has created unique and rewarding coaching offers

exclusive to the 2020 Broken Arrow Skyrace.

For all 26/52k athletes who sign up for a full-service coaching package before February 15, 2020, not only will Trails and Tarmac provide the best possible Broken Arrow training regime, they’ll show their gratitude with a custom jacket for you! The jacket will include the Trails and Tarmac as well as Broken Arrow Skyrace logos. And they’ll also treat you to an athlete dinner in Squaw Valley on Friday, June 19, 2020! Coaching cost is $225 per month.

For 11k or VK runners who might be new to Skyrunning events, the experienced coaches at Trails & Tarmac have also created a less expensive, but equally efficient, coaching option. Trails and Tarmac will provide individualized training plans and monthly coaching correspondence to get you on track and keep you there. The plans are 100% custom and made from scratch – specifically designed for each individual runner based on their training history, life commitments and race goals. The cost for a 12-week plan and coaching is $225. Please note that these plans are not available for 26k or 52k runners.

Trails and Tarmac will also produce a live Broken Arrow Skyrace YouTube webcast this March that will deal specifically with training, course specifics and more. Coaches, Ryan Ghelfi, David Laney (Nike), and Brett Hornig (Hoka One One), will talk you through the secrets of training and racing for the Broken Arrow Skyrace. These accomplished professional runners will take questions and comments during the live show, which will allow you to find out if you are on the right track to #RingDasBell this June.
