This might be our favorite thing about race weekend 2026.

 

All weekend long, courtesy of ACG, ride the Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram on us — free trips up the mountain for everyone.​ Runners, crews, kids, the friend who drove four hours just to cowbell you through the finish. Everybody rides. No upcharge, no rope line — just a global brand that loves these mountains as much as we do, lifting the whole community 2,000 feet up to High Camp.

 

And here's where we want you to point all that energy: Julia's aid station.

 

Perched at High Camp, 8,200 feet, Julia's sits on one of the most jaw-dropping sections of the entire course — granite, sky, and runners grinding through the high alpine with the whole Sierra at their back. It's the kind of place that makes a hard mile feel holy. We want it loud up there: cowbells echoing off the rock and a wall of people losing their minds for every single runner, front of the pack to final finisher.

 

So ride the tram. Bring your voice. Spectate at Julia's.

 

It's free, it's stunning, and it's the best seat in trail running.

If you'd like to spectate at the finish of the Ascent, or hang out on the tippy top of the mountain in general, hop the tram to High Camp (those views!) and then run/hike the approximate 1.5-miles and 800-feet of vertical gain. You won't regret it.

Friday, June 18 2026 from 7am-12pm

Saturday, June 19, 2026 8am-1pm

Sunday, June 21, 2026 7am-12pm

For our Broken Arrow spectators and supporters, needing to ride the tram outside of the above timeframes, Palisades Tahoe is offering deeply discounted tram tickets the entire race weekend. One ticket is good for the entire day. Adult tickets are $19/day and Childrens' tickets are $13/day.

To purchase tickets, please follow these steps:

​

1. Choose a 1 day span anywhere between 6/18 and 6/26 and click on "Check Availability". The tickets will work for any one day in this date window. 

​

2. Click on the + sign of the desired ticket in the blue bar below.

​

3. Select the word "Change" to select the product, then the amount of tickets you would like.

​

4. Proceed to check-out

 

If you would like discounted tickets for any other dates during this timeframe, please start a new transaction and use the same date range.
