For those tremendously adventurous souls we offer our "Iron Crown" option.

This is some of the toughest consecutive day racing you can ever attempt! Like its sibling the Triple Crown, the Iron Crown consists of the Iron Face Challenge on Friday, 46k Saturday and 23k Sunday. All Iron Crown finishers receive special prizes and are pretty much the raddest people ever. This event is for seasoned Triple Crown runners who might want to switch it up a little. While the Triple Crown consists of the VK, 46k and 23k, the Iron Crown is made up of the Iron Face Challenge, 46k and  23k . 

 

Each year, we offer 25 spots for the Iron Crown, a three-distance event that is made up of the Iron Face Challenge, 46k and 23k. This is some of the toughest consecutive day trail racing out there and if you are up for the challenge, we're excited to welcome you to this prestigious group. All Iron Crown Finishers receive special prizes above and beyond the regular race swag.

 

Our Iron Crown is a fantastic training tool to prepare you for Hardrock, Tahoe Rim Trail 100 or UTMB. Please see individual race pages for elevation profiles, descriptions, etc.

 

The cost for the Iron Crown is $575.
